Friday prayer at the Faith Centre. The number of sittings and the khutbah times change through the term, so these come straight off the Faith Centre’s monthly sheet.

Room: Muslim Prayer Hall, Faith Centre. Bring a valid University ID. They check it for Jumu'ah too. The Faith Centre publishes these times for September 2026 and we copy them across. They change again next month.

The sittings move through the term. Early September runs two khutbahs; from Friday 18 September it goes to three, and the first one shifts earlier as Dhuhr does. Don’t memorise a time, check here on the day.

If it’s your first Jumu’ah here

  • The Faith Centre is on University Road, opposite the SEE Building. Five minutes from most of Peel Park.
  • Come early. The first sitting fills up, and latecomers end up at the back or waiting for the next one.
  • The hall has separate spaces for brothers and sisters, with wudu facilities for both.
  • If you miss a sitting, wait for the next one rather than leaving.
  • Never been? Nobody will look at you twice. Follow the row in front and you’ll be fine.

If you’re not on Peel Park

There is no Jumu’ah at Frederick Road or MediaCity. If you can’t get across, the nearest masaajid are on the local masaajid page, check their times before you set off, they won’t match ours.

Once, and then never again

Put Jumu’ah in your phone calendar

Subscribe and every sitting appears alongside your lectures, with the room and a reminder to bring your ID. When the Faith Centre changes the times and the committee uploads the new month, your calendar changes with it. You do nothing.
